A Little Insight

I decided to go to a blog format for my gaming page as opposed to a formal web page. I hope to try and recreate some of the things I had on that page as well as to add some more fresh ideas. I only hope I can come up with enough info and ideas to keep this running. My last blog crashed and burned, no survivors. I am sure I will be able to keep this up as this blog relates to my hobby of wargaming. This will be a work in progress as I learn the ins and outs of blogging with pictures and links.

For the people out there who may not know what wargaming is, it is basically a military style of gaming using board games such as Axis and Allies to some more complicated games like Kingmaker. It also encompasses miniatures which is where my focus is. Wargames can also be done by mail as well as e-mail when playing computer wargames. Steelpanthers is my favorite computer game. This is one that many play by e-mail.

I have miniature gamed several areas of history such as Romans, modern micro armor, WW2 micro armor, WW1 to my current interest of the American Civil War. I have a large group of figs for my ACW in 15mm. Our group is currently involved in a campaign involving the American Civil War. I am the Confederate Commander and another of my group is the Federal Commander. This campaign has been going on for about 2yrs now. I will add more in future posts regarding our adventures in this campaign as well as some pictures.
