This is a good view of my attack. A lone Union unit is left in the open trying to slow my progress. Once these Union troops were cleared, I would have to face the Union troops behind stone walls at the top of the picture. My cav can be seen to the right of the picture.

One thing I should point out...the woods in the lower right corner. This is where the Union launched a disorganized cav attack against me. That was prior to this pic. I believed I blogged about it in the battle report, but I will write about it real quick.

The Union cav came out and opted to go after a couple artillery batteries I had lagging behind the infantry. He managed some poor die rolling, allowing me to get a crack at them. After a couple of turns, I was able to unload 2 batteries of canister at close range! I destroyed the cav! They posed no threat to me for the rest of the game. I was initially concerned, but with his horse in disorder, it allowed me to focus on them before the could have been more of a threat.
